Are the consultations in person, and are they free?
Yes and yes! We offer free in person consultations for all of our jobs, making sure we can help you through the entire process start to finish and get the best window coverings possible for your home.
What kinds of products do you offer?
We offer a variety of shades including woven roman shades, roller shades, fabric roman shades, and cellular honeycomb shades. We also offer custom plantation shutters, high-end custom drapery, and outdoor patio shades. All of our shades have the ability to be both light-filtering or room-darkening (blackout) and all can be either motorized or the standard cordless control. Our motorized shades also have the option for a hub to allow phone and smart home control.
I don't know anything about interior design, can you help?
Absolutely yes! We aren't here just for measuring. We have been in this business for 20+ years and have seen thousands of homes, and our favorite part of the job is using everything we have seen and everything we know to help make your home just as gorgeous as all our favorites we have worked with in the past!
What is a Roman Shade, and what is a Roller Shade?
A Roman Shade is made of a fabric or a natural woven material, and it stacks into horizontal pleats when you raise it. It gives the feel of a curtain or drape, but with the functionality of a shade. They tend to have a softer, more traditional look.
Woven Roman Shades are made of natural grasses and bamboos, have a slightly thicker and more textured feel to them, and are by far our most popular product.
Fabric Roman Shades are made of traditional fabrics and come in a wider variety of colors and patterns, however will wrinkle over time in frequent use areas that are moved up and down often.
A Roller Shade will roll up at the top and stay completely flat throughout when open. It has no pleats and no creases, and tends to have a more modern or industrial look.
Both Roller and Roman shades can be either cordless or motorized, and can be either light-filtering or black-out.
Can my cordless shades be
changed to become motorized shades?
Unfortunately, no. Because of the way the motor is installed on a shade, you cannot upgrade from cordless to motorized after the fact. This decision needs to be made before ordering the initial shade.
Can I make updates to my order
after the final measure and deposit?
Unfortunately, no. ALL of our products are custom made to the exact measurements of your windows and cannot be changed once the order is placed. This is entirely out of our hands. Orders are placed as soon as we have your finalized measurements and deposit, and the options chosen at that time are what will be ordered.
